I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live. Deuteronomy 30:19

If you look at the lives of Adolf Hitler and Charlie Chaplin, you will find that there is a curious coincidence in the date of their birth – 16th April 1889, it is the same week, same month, same year. Each was a product of a poor and otherwise distressed childhood, and  each had developed an uncanny ability to move the multitudes to mass adoration – though of course their techniques were quite different. They had a choice and they chose what they became known as to the whole world. Their choices were displayed in their lives for all to see.

Every single thing we say and do arises from a choice we make within our minds. We make a choice to say one thing over another. In the same way, the Lord has given us a very great choice to make – life and death, of blessings or curses. What would you choose? The Word of God is the blueprint for everyone who wants to choose ‘life’ and ‘blessings.’ This choice will surely change your destiny for eternity. The other choice may bring you temporary pleasure and worldly riches but it will also eventually bring you ‘death’ and ‘curses’. Give a thought about every decision you make and where it will take you. Are you consciously choosing life???

“Dear Jesus, I didn’t realize that there are many decisions of mine that took me away from you and your Word. Help me to learn from you so that I will choose life and not death any more in my life.  Amen.”
