Let God Lead You On

When God called Moses out of the bucolic setting to take up the task of leading the enslaved Israelites, all the details of this comprehensive assignment were not spelt out. For God had more in store for Moses than just the exodus. He had to chronicle the history of this chosen nation’s deliverance from Egypt; supervise the building of the tabernacle, its furnishings, utensils, the Ark of the Covenant; induct the priestly order, ordain Aaron and his sons; give instructions on social justice, morality, and spirituality; lay down the futuristic division of the promised land. All this unfolded, as he walked in obedience.

God expects the same from us. As we faithfully serve God beginning with where he has placed us and with what he has placed into our hands, he will broaden the horizon, opening up new opportunities and avenues for growth in Christian service. As we take one step at a time, we’ll discover the magnificence of God’s grace enabling us to do greater things for His glory and deepen our understanding of Him, that ultimately refines our character.

From being a curt rash exploding personality, Moses matured into becoming the most humblest man of all, with whom God spoke face to face! Such a refinement and maturity is borne out of an uncharted faith journey.

Let God lead you on…..He who called you is faithful.

Prayer – “O God our help in ages past, our hope for years to come, be thou our guide while life shall last and our eternal home.” Amen.
