See what becomes of him

See what becomes of him

“Come now, let’s kill him and throw him into one of these cisterns and say that a ferocious animal devoured him. Then we’ll see what comes of his dreams.” Genesis 37:20

See what becomes of Him

See what becomes of Him

When you speak about your dreams there will be many people who will laugh at you and tell you it will never happen. It may be your own family members, your best friends or even the others around. There are people who go to great lengths to break the dreams of others. Sometimes those who say that they mean good to you may give you advice saying that why don’t you consider this and that ‘it will be better for you’. They are of the opinion that if you let go of the thought you could settle down into a good life, have a regular job like everyone else… it would be more sensible.

Imagine if the John the Baptist took a regular job instead of ‘preparing the way of the Lord’. What would we think if Tendulkar was forced to quit playing cricket and made to take a government job because there is more ‘security’? Think of any person from a creative field and you cannot imagine them stuck in a repetitious 9 to 5 job. Isn’t it?

If God has given you a dream, He will take you through it… no matter what comes against you. Don’t listen to the negative voices that pull you down, listen to the voice of God that is preparing you for that encounter which will fulfill your dream.

Turn a deaf ear to voices that pull you down.

“Dear Jesus, thank you for showing me that you are serious about my dream. Please help achieve the dream you have placed on my heart, lead me step by step till I reach my goal, Amen.’’
