Bread to eat
‘Moses said to them, ‘It is the bread the Lord has given you to eat’. Exodus 16:15
Roaming in the wilderness, they were tired. The Israelites missed the comforts and provisions they had in Egypt. There was no food to eat. They were tired of scrambling for tit-bits and eating what little they could find. They were in the state of despair having reached the end of their rope.
It was then that they saw thin flakes like frost falling from the sky on the ground. Moses came to them and said, ‘It is the bread the Lord has given you to eat.’ When we are facing situations in our life where we have reached a dead end, we can look to our God who provided Manna to His people while they were in the desert. His love for them caused Him to make a special provision for them so they could have enough to eat even in the wilderness. He will not let you down, look to Him and He will send you an answer, a solution to your problems. It didn’t matter to Him that the desert doesn’t grow anything to eat, He simply showered manna down from the sky.
Leave the impossibilities to God and He will handle everything for you. Just remember to not grumble as the Israelites did because that shows a lack of trust… He is a great God who loves us and will do anything for His children who love Him.
“Dear Jesus, thank you for all the things you have done for me in my life. I place all my life’s situations into Your hands, please make everything right for me, Amen.”
